JungleBook Himalayan Yoga Retreat Program
JungleBook, Jibhi welcomes both single travelers as well as couples of all skill levels to join the yoga retreat. A typical class includes a sequence of asanas that consistently increase strength and flexibility of the body as well as stimulate and ultimately awaken our energy centres – chakras. This will be followed by a wholesome and varied breakfast. Guests can then choose to spend the day either relaxing by the nearby stream, working on their own practice, or enjoying one of the many activities available through Jungle Book.
These include fishing, hiking and more and can be arranged before or upon arrival. There will be evening yoga classes before the guests can sits down to dinner to share stories of the day. Pranayama breathing exercises are always an integral part of every session. Each class finishes off with deep relaxation followed by Vipassana Meditation to release stress and blocked energy. All level participants – including beginners and advanced – can equally benefit from every class at Yoga Retreat.
Meet your yoga teacher, Elena – a Russian-born English teacher who has given up her job for living the dream of long-term traveling and in the process established her true passion in yoga. She is a Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and Ashram certified yoga instructor. “I teach yoga as I travel. Traveling incredibly enriches one in a spiritual way. Undoubtedly, so does yoga. You will be staying in a double room. Each room accommodates 2 people and has attached balconies, baths and toilet. The peaceful property is located Jibhi-a small hamlet in the Himachal Pradesh, India. The retreat features three bedrooms, with a common lounge area and kitchen. The house itself has a large garden boasting of organic farming. On most days, yoga classes will take place on a green lawn in the garden unless it rains in which case we all go inside.
Guests will enjoy home cooked, wholesome and balanced breakfasts, lunch and evening meals during their stay. On the chef’s night off, guests can explore the incredible local cuisine the area has to offer. Alcohol is not offered but can be consumed on request.
Ideally at 1100 hours. If arrive earlier, you are most welcome to drop off your bags for safe-keeping, while JungleBook prepares your accommodation. In the meantime, explore the locale of Jibhi or walk along the beautiful stream

The classes are suitable for beginners and advanced since many asanas have different variations. Visitors can follow the classes on their own level, and at their own pace.

JungleBook recommends you bring your own sun cream, hat, mosquito repellent, torch, and long sleeves for the cooler evenings.
Please inquire to JungleBook about the availability of accommodation before or after your chosen retreat. If there are no other retreats right before or after your chosen one, there will likely be an opportunity to stay longer.
